Consultation
As one of the UK’s leading staircase suppliers we offer a broad range of staircase solutions with a myriad of fixing methods. We are equally comfortable to work with Architects on variations of our designs or unique client lead concepts. We encourage early involvement in projects and are happy to advise on general product specification, site preparation and quotations.
Estimating
We believe in providing detailed but concise estimates which outline all aspects of the project and payment schedules. We do not require a site visit to supply a budget, provided we are given plans or basic measurements and site detail to work from.
Survey
Signature stairs drawing team are BIM ready as well operating 3-D surveys, at the appropriate build time, exact measurements are taken and site conditions and levels agreed.
Structural Certification
All staircase solutions in our range are structurally approved by our structural engineering partners. In keeping with our ISO approved quality standards all Signature Stairs are fabricated to comply or surpass building regulations and safety standards.
3-D & CAD Drawings & Staircase Plans
Working from accurate site measurements and conditions our drawing specialists prepare detailed 3-D and CAD drawing which are given to Architects for approval prior to the project going into production. Any detailing or fixing issues are solved prior to the finished drawings going into production and once the staircase plans are approved an installation schedule is agreed.
Fabrication
Our highly qualified fitters fabricate our stairs in a modern facility under strict quality controls (ISO approved). As every stairs project is unique and custom fit we insist that the best materials are used and fabricated with exact accuracy.
Installation
Our installation team, which includes experienced welders and fitters as well as stainless steel specialists, will install your stairs to an agreed schedule. The team and their equipment carry all the necessary insurance and certification requirements. We are also happy to provide site safety and method statements if required.
Joinery
The structures of Signature Stairs are predominately mild steel in construction. Our joinery partners who are bespoke furniture specialists are responsible for finish cladding these structures. Working with solid natural timbers all steps are given 20 mm solid cladding top, front, back and finished with matching veneer to the undersides. Clients are free to choose from a multitude of timber types and we offer rebated solid handrails as well as engineered solid laminated curved handrails.
